Clipp’s vision is to digitize the food supply chain into bits & bytes, starting with the $325bn food ingredient distribution industry in the US. Food distributors sell ingredients to restaurants via 15+ year old processes, with >50% of the industry using Quickbooks offline and pen & paper. After a 1-in-100 year pandemic, the food supply chain needs to be revolutionized to ensure food costs do not continue to rise.

Our mission is to democratize access to healthy and quality food for the world’s 8bn+ population.

💪 The team is looking for

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including experience as a team lead or manager preferred
• Led technical projects and architects and designing scalable, distributed systems
• Experience with web application development, including React.js and Node.js, cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), and knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Excellent communication abilities and experience leading technical teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product and design
• Experience with e-commerce or restaurant industries is a plus but not required

⌨️ What You’ll be Working on

• You will help design, shape, and implement Clipp’s vision
• You will be initially involved with all aspects of running the business (GSD mentality), with a primary focus on engineering & product. (i.e., occasionally talking to customers or doing customer visits, working alongside CFO on projections, assisting with customer service, etc)
